Among the Contents published by Epitech in the Website It is possible to find useful information for Consumer Users (hereinafter the “Public”), expressed in an easily understandable form, and information of a scientific nature useful for health professionals Users (hereinafter “Doctors” and “Pharmacists”).
Website Contents do not have promotional purposes can they be interpreted as an offer or solicitation to prescribe, supply, purchase or trade the products of Epitech.

D. 541/92, is reserved only to health professionals (Doctors and Pharmacists).
Users are therefore invited to consult exclusively their attending physician for all doubts or questions regarding their state of health and for all medical services and/or scientific, clinical, and therapeutic advice regarding the diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of pathologies, symptoms, side effects and adverse events.

Limitations on Epitech Group liability for the Website cybersecurity
No liability could be attributes to Epitech for effects caused by viruses, spyware or other harmful programs that are not detected and inactivated by the security software of the Website or because of accessing or browsing the Website or downloading materials, data, text, images, video or audio of the Website or the use of any part of the Website Content.
Epitech reserves the right to interrupt or suspend the operation of the Website at any time without incurring any liability on its part, whether the interruption or suspension is the result of actions or omissions of Epitech or third parties.
Limitations on Epitech liability for Internal and External links, Opt–in.
Epitech reserves the right to include in the Website, both in the Public and Reserved Areas, links (hereinafter referred to as “Links”) that redirect Users to other pages of the Website (hereinafter referred to as “Internal Links”) or, where appropriate, to sites of other Group Companies of Epitech (these links are also considered, pursuant to and for the purposes of these Terms, such as Internal Links) or finally also to third party sites (later, “External Links”) whose contents are deemed by Epitech, in its sole discretion, of interest for the Users.
For what it concerns the Internal Links, Epitech policy prohibits the communication, by di Epitech itself, of Contents by means of computer programs that can be activated while browsing the Website without the consent of Users (such as, e.g. the “pop-ups” windows).
Concerning External Links, Epitech communication policy prohibits the insertion on the Website of links to secondary pages of websites of third parties other than the home page (hereinafter referred to as “deep links”), as the contents published in those secondary pages are the property of the owners of the linked sites.
External Links are provided to the Website Users for their pure convenience. Epitech is not able to check the content of External Links.
Consequently, by activating the External Links, the Users are redirected exclusively to the home page of these third-party sites, within which they will independently search for the desired information.
Users acknowledge that Epitech has no responsibility regarding the availability or content of the sites to which the External Links refer, as well as is not responsible, directly, or indirectly, for damages resulting from the use of the contents provided by those sites. Users access such sites at their own risk. The navigation within the sites linked to the Website through External Links is subject to the rules established by the respective owners.
Epitech expressly warns Users that by activating the External Links, they interrupt the navigation of the Website for their own free choice and without any constraint.

Copyright and other intellectual property rights of Contents and third-party information
Subject to express and specific written declaration of Epitech, all Content published on the Website is protected, as regards its use, reproduction and total or partial dissemination, by exclusive intellectual property rights (patent, trademark, copyright, and related rights, including on databases, and other similar rights). These specific conditions are understood to be fully transposed by the Conditions.

Cookie policy
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Epitech informs Users that the computer systems and programs that allow the operation of the Website collect, as an inherent operation of their normal operation, certain personal data of Users whose collection is necessary for the operation of communication protocols in the Internet network (IP addresses, domain names of the computer tools used by Users to access the Website, the URL addresses of the resources requested from those available on the Website, date and time of the request, type and size of resource requested and other data related to the operating system used by the User).
As part of this activity, Epitech could install computer programs, commonly known as “Cookies”, on the hard drive of the Users’ computer, through which collect the data of the user’s top level domain name (for example ‘internetserviceprovider.com/net/it’, the date and time of access and the visited pages).
Subject to the limitations of liability set out in the Conditions, Epitech guarantees that Cookies have no harmful effect on the computers of the Users, and on the programs installed therein.
For practical reasons, Cookies can be configured in such a way as to be automatically installed on the hard disk of Users; for the same reasons, Epitech might use, in addition to session cookies (which are deactivated when Users close their browser), also persistent cookies (which are able to remain installed on Users’ computers even after switching off).Session Cookies are used exclusively to collect the data necessary for browsing the Website and do not allow the collection of personal data identifying the natural persons of the Users.
Epitech reminds that the Users themselves have the possibility to refuse the automatic installation of Cookies on their hard disk, activating a system of “opt-in” by changing the browser settings to display a “pop-up” message on the Users’ computer screen, which alerts Users that the Website has received a Cookie, thus allowing Users to decide whether to accept or refuse the installation on their hard disk.
Guarantees for the protection of Users’ personal data

In compliance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, Epitech intends to explain to the User how, by whom, and for what purposes, the personal data provided when accessing our site, will be processed, and protected and what are the User’s rights regarding such data.
1. DATA CONTROLLER
The personal data controller is the company Epitech Group S.p.A. unipersonale (hereinafter Epitech), in the person of its legal representative pro tempore, Mrs. Raffaella della Valle, headquartered in 20144 Milan, via Egadi, 7 – Italy, and administrative office in 35030 Saccolongo (PD), Via L. da Vinci, 3, and operative seat in 35030 Saccolongo (PD), Via Meucci 2, Italy, VAT No. IT03630550287.
2. TYPES OF PROCESSED DATA
The data processed by Epitech are common personal data (as an indication, personal identification data such as name and surname, fiscal code, address, telephone numbers, email addresses). If personal data of third parties are disclosed to Epitech, the User is the independent data controller and assumes the consequent legal obligations and responsibilities, without prejudice to Epitech with respect to any dispute, claim and/or claim for damages.
3. LAWFULNESS, PURPOSE AND METHOD OF PROCESSING AND CONSEQUENCES OF FAILURE TO PROVIDE DATA
The collected data are processed for following purposes:
- for the correct and complete execution of the operations provided for by the contracts;
- to comply with legal obligations of an administrative, accounting, civil and fiscal nature and obligations under Community and non-EU regulations and regulations;
- to exercise the rights of the Data Controller, for example the right of defence in court;
- to carry out marketing activities such as sending advertising material, carrying out market research, commercial communication, promotional activities and newsletters by email or telephone contact.
For the purposes indicated by letter a) to letter c) the provision of data is mandatory as necessary for the establishment of the contractual relationship. Failure to provide personal data or refusal to provide it makes it impossible for Epitech to conclude and perform the contract and provide the related services.
For the purposes indicated in letter d) personal data will be processed only if the User has given his consent. The provision of consent to the use of data is optional and failure to provide it does not allow the activity referred to in point d).
If the User wishes to object to the processing of data for the purpose indicated in point d) and to withdraw the consent given, he may do so at any time without any consequence on the availability of the other services requested or their operation.
The communicated data are inserted in the corporate database and their processing is carried out through computer and telematic tools, as well as manuals on paper, also with third parties, with the use of logic strictly related to the purposes of collection and to always ensure compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation on the protection of personal data.
If the User is under the age of 18, he cannot provide any personal data or register on the site and in any case Epitech assumes no responsibility for any false statements provided by the User. The holder of parental responsibility may at any time request Epitech to remove the data entered, and the deactivation of the account improperly created by the child, by making a written request to the address info@epitech.it.
4. DATA RECIPIENTS
The data are processed by internal resources that are properly trained and that operate as personnel in charge of processing.
Personal data are not subject to disclosure.
The data provided may be disclosed to third parties appointed external data processors such as, as an indication, tax consultants, lawyers, maintenance companies’ computer systems, couriers, credit institutions and insurance, where this proves necessary to fulfil the management and execution of the contractual relationship. The updated list of external data processors is available at the operational headquarters of Epitech.
Finally, personal data may be shared with authorities, bodies and/or subjects to whom they must be communicated pursuant to legal provisions or orders from authorities. These authorities, entities and/or subjects will act as independent data controllers.
5. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD
All information is stored on servers owned by Epitech, or outsourced by third parties located within the European Union.
Your personal data may be transferred to non-EU countries in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

6. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Personal data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes indicated and, in any case, for the period imposed by law.
After the above-mentioned periods, all data will be deleted or made anonymous by computer and paper archives.

The current legislation on the protection of personal data gives the User the exercise of specific rights:
- the right of access or the right to request and obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data and their provision in an intelligible form (Art. 15 Reg. EU 679/2016);
- the right to be updated, supplemented, and corrected in the event of inaccuracies (Art. 16 Reg. EU 679/2016);
- the right to cancellation (art. 17 Reg. EU 679/2016);

8. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES
The Data Controller does not carry out processing that consists of automated decision-making processes on the data processed.
